I can easily say that 2013 has been the best year of my life, the fact that I say this every year is good news 🙂 I speak alot on this blog and on Facebook about privilege and not taking anything in life for granted – because I need to pinch myself daily. This year brings me to tears to think back on, the amount of beautiful people, places, moments and memories I got to not only capture but also experience, as you do in this line of work. So many amazing people opened up their lives to me whether it was for a family portrait, an engagement session, a christening, a bar mitzvah, 60 year wedding anniversary, first birthday party or that absolutely incredible moment when two people say “I do”.
I have a very, very long list of people to thank and be grateful for this year, I won’t go through everyone but a very special shout out to Helen Abraham and Alexa Loy two absolutely incredible, unique and inspiring photographers and beautiful friends I’ve met this year. Every now and then you meet someone who you know you’re going to want around forever and this year I was blessed with two.
Most importantly to my clients and future clients! Thanks for believing in the cause and booking me for your wedding, furthermore thanks for consistently going beyond this and preaching about me to everyone you know! This year I booked over 90% of my weddings just through word of mouth and I think that is something absolutely amazing.
