Alma & Dan decided on Scottish destination wedding – they travelled from Houston, USA for a weekend never go be forgotten. I first started chatting to these two about a year ago and instantly connected with them. Throughout the entire process at the core of their planning was always creating a day that their family and friends would never forget. I would say they most definitely accomplished this! Planning a destination wedding can be incredibly stressful, making arrangements and plans in a place you don’t live isn’t the easiest task. These two worked with Premier planner weddings who did a fantastic job. Getting a planner or at least day of co ordinator is one of the biggest pieces of advices I give to my couples considering a destination wedding. On a different note I have to take the time to thank Alma for being willing to brave the cold and a substantial amount of clambering over rocks for their portraits. Even though it was May and coming into Summer, Scotlands coastline can be notoriously chilly once the sun goes down! They also happened to have one of the most killer dance floors I’ve ever seen at a wedding! The London function band kicked things off nicely and kept the dancefloor absolutely choc-full to the edges all night long! Of course being in Scotland also called for a traditional ceilidh dance and a dedicated band was also brought out for this! Scroll to the end to see a whole lot of happy!
