Kenny & Elisa have a kind of enthusiasm about them that is contagious, when they were seeking a wedding photographer dordogne in France I was of course over the moon to join them!. Along with their closest family and friends at the Chateau de Fayolle in Riberac it was a weekend I’ll never forget.
I first heard from them about a year ago and their plans for their wedding were only just a seed about to grow, it always seems to be that time goes a million times faster when you’re a wedding photographer!. One moment a couple is happily telling you of their perfect engagement story and the next you’re sending their wedding photos out to them.
There were so many little moments I adored on this day that I just wouldn’t have enough room in this blog post to fit them all in! Elisa really does have a heart of gold and thought of everything for her guests and bridal party. One of my favourite little details were handmade purses with messages sewn into the inside as favours for her bridesmaids. The bridal party wore gorgeous peach full length dresses but each with a different neckline tailored to each girl perfectly. Elisa also did all of the girls hair as well as her own and everyone did their own makeup. I love a down to earth bridal party.
A Wedding in France is decadent on so many levels but the way I love the most is the food!. Guests were treated to a whopping feast of not two, not three but seven sumptuous courses of french cuisine. Finishing of course with the profiterole tower that is the traditional wedding cake in France. Delicious balls of choux pastry filled with cream. I swear I could smash back about 100 of those things.
Both families went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and a special mention to Kenny’s twin brother and the best man James for looking out for me on the day as well as everyone who smiled all day long for my camera!
Lovely photos. So many smiling faces. what a happy day. x
Oh Nisha, always love seeing your work. You capture moments and emotions perfectly.
Really liked the photos you took of the wedding at Chateau de Fayolle. We’re getting married there next July and I wondered if you could provide a quote and let me know if you’re available on the 19tj July.
Thanks
Rachel
